In response to ASClab's invitation, professor Iwasa who came from

Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory in MIT arrived at SWJTU in Oct.30th 2007

for his annual academic visit. During his 5 days' stay, he gave a lecture

about technology of superconductor magnet at first for the whole university

teachers and students, then answered questions that has been proposed by

audiences.? Afterwards he had been certified as our university's visiting

professor. In the next days professor Iwasa held a series of lectures for our

laboratory, then made further discussions with us. In his lectures, pro.Iwasa

introduced the temporary research progresses in applying superconductivity

technology into NMR in FBML, and made a thorough introduction to Flux

Jumping technique. In the discussion, all staffs inquired questions like flux

jumping, AC loss and LS.

     Prof Iwasa is internationally renowned in Magnet Technique, in all these

years have been the leading force for the research and development of

NMR, made several outstanding contributions to the development of Magnet

Technique. His lecture had been highly praised by all the audiences, his

assiduity moved everyone. Beside this, prof Iwasa invited prof J S, Wang

and prof S Y, Wang to visit MIT next year, they reached an agreement in

further corporation. Prof Iwasa's visiting is very meaningful for our research

work.
